    1. Made-to-<\/span>measure <\/span><\/strong>Our<\/span> sheets<\/span> are<\/span> mainly<\/span> extruded<\/span> to<\/span> length<\/span> in<\/span> the<\/span> factory,<\/span> which <\/span>reduces<\/span> the<\/span> rate<\/span> of<\/span> off-cuts<\/span> and<\/span> therefore<\/span> limits<\/span> the<\/span> production<\/span> of<\/span> waste<\/span> in<\/span> our <\/span>workshops or on site.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Waste<\/span> collection<\/span> and <\/span><\/span>recovery <\/span><\/span><\/strong>All off-cuts of less than 1m are collected and recycled by CAPECO, a company located less than 70km from our premises. Collection takes place every quarter. 100% of the waste is recycled. In 2021, 8 tonnes of plastic and 0.7 tonnes of paper and cardboard were recovered.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Responsible <\/span><\/span>producer <\/span><\/span><\/strong>As a member of the VALOBAT eco-organisation, Poly-Pac is part of an EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) initiative. End-of-life products and on-site waste are collected and managed by the organisation to limit pollution.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Systems <\/span><\/span>innovation <\/span><\/span><\/strong>Poly-Pac is developing ranges of polycarbonate products and systems that help to reduce the energy consumption of buildings, such as arcoTherm\u00ae and MLI\u00ae. arcoTherm\u00ae is a thicker system that provides better insulation. MLI Ma\u00eetrise Lumi\u00e8re Isolante\u00ae is a solar protection system that reduces air conditioning consumption.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Renewable<\/span> energy<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/strong>The energy needed to produce arcoPlus\u00ae Policarb\u00ae and Policomp\u00ae sheets is generated by the factory using solar panels.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    6. Sourcing<\/span> in<\/span> the<\/span> European Union <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>The components of our systems are sourced entirely in the European Union and supplied by road, which considerably reduces greenhouse gas emissions.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    7. HQE<\/span> label\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Polycarbonate systems, once installed, fully comply with the requirements of the HQE (High Environmental Quality) label.<\/span><\/li>\n
    8. Sheets<\/span> based<\/span> on<\/span> <\/span>recycled<\/span> <\/span>polycarbonate\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>We are developing a sheet whose internal “mass” is made up of recycled polycarbonate elements. This internal part will be opaque, so the sheet will be used to install opaque walls. The aim is for these sheets to contain 50% recycled elements.the polycarbonate elements that do not conform, due to dimensional (sub-formats) or production problems, are sorted according to colour.the polycarbonate elements without colour or with basic and frequently used colours are crushed and reused directly in the production lines.<\/span><\/span><\/span> \n

      Polycarbonate products in the arcoPlus range can contain up to 10% of these elements recycled internally.<\/p>\n

      The less frequently used colour elements are mixed together, crushed and recovered by an external company for re-use.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div> \n\n<\/div>\n\n

      Our range of Polycarbonate systems now includes the option of adding a unique thin photocatalytic layer, transforming polycarbonate into a genuine air treatment system.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
